Mix one (1) cap of ADVANAGE 20X
to 32 ounces of water. Spray on surface, rub in and buff dry. NOTE: Wipe as you spray to prevent streaking and never clean in direct sunlight.
Walls, Carpets, Furniture, Laundry, Gum, Paint Prep, Linoleum, Tile Formica, Ceramics, Marble, Brass, Porcelain, Venetian Blinds, Shingles, Sidings, Stainless Steel and Office Equipment, Mildew, Screens, Brick, Jewelry
Walls (Ink, Crayons, Pencil) For wallpaper, spray ADVANAGE 20X on and wipe off with a dry towel. Use same solution on wall panels and wipe clean. For greasy buildup, use a non-abrasive scrounge pad.
For spot cleaning, spray on ADVANAGE 20X and let stand for 30 seconds. Rinse with clear water and wipe dry with towel. When using a carpet shampoo machine, vacuum area to be cleaned first lifting all loose particles. Using one (1) cup of ADVANAGE 20X to every five (5) gallons of water, c lean carpet concentrating on heavily soiled areas. Let dry and vacuum again. To clean without a machine, follow same procedures as above using a soft bristle brush to loosen soil, rinse and wipe clean with towel.
NOTE: Test fabric for colorfastness or bleeding before cleaning.
For spot cleaning, use 20:1 sprayi ng on stained area and rub in circular motion with a dry towel. For stubborn stains, use 15:1 and let stand for 3 to 5 minutes. You may use a nylon brush to assist you, rubbing in a circular motion. Rinse and wipe dry with towel.
Use 2:1 for set-in stains; test before using. For pre-washing, spray on spots or ring-around-the-collar using 20:1. Let stand for 30 to 60 seconds, and then rub with a nylon brush or towel. Add to your regular wash load. You may also add 1/2 cup of ADVANAGE 20X in your wash load. For fresh ink spots on clothing, place a towel underneath the spot and using the nozzle of the sprayer, rub in a circular motion over the stain after having sprayed directly into the towel. For old stains, spray the stained area directly and let stand for five (5) minutes. Add to your regular wash load.
Gum, Glue, Candle Wax
Using a pin or needle, punch holes in the gum, glue or candle wax and spray on using a 20:1 dilution. Let stand for 60 seconds and rub away the residue using a nylon brush.
Paint Prep, Wash Surfaces Using a 20:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X before painting makes an excellent bonder. ADVANAGE 20X can also be used as a thinner by adding a 10:1 dilution per one gallon of paint.
For general cleaning, use a 20:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X to clean floors, then rinse. For tough stains a nonabrasive scrounge pad may be used. As a wax stripper, use an ADVANAGE 20X dilution of 2:1 along with an abrasive pad to remove wax buildup. Rinse. (CAUTION: Do not use on no-wax floor!)
Formica, Ceramics, Marble, Brass, Porcelain, Venetian Blinds, Shingles, Sidings, Stainless Steel and Office Equipment All the above may be cleaned with a 20:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X . Spray on and use a non-abrasive scrounges pad to assist then wipe clean and rinse. For stubborn stains allow ADVANAGE 20X to stand for 1 to 2 minutes before wiping clean. Rinse.
NOTE: For telephone equipment, computers, etc., do not spray directly into equipment. Dampen cloth and clean dirty areas.
Mildew, Screens, Brick
Using a nylon brush, spray on ADVANAGE 20X at 20:1 and scrub area to be cleaned. Rinse.
ADVANAGE 20X can be used on all fine jewelry (gold and diamonds). Mix one (1) ounce of to twenty (20) ounces of water. Place jewelry (do not immerse watches) in the solution for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove and rinse with clear water. Use dry cloth to wipe clean. For watches, use same dilution however, substitute by rubbing the wristbands with nylon brush.
NOTE: Not recommended on zirconium and electroplated gold. Items must be pure gold.
Using ADVANAGE 20X
at 15:1 dilution, spray area where stained, and using a nylon brush rub in a circular motion until stain is removed. Rinse and wipe dry. For stubborn stains, allow to stand for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse and wipe dry.
Liquor, Soda, Coffee, Food and Grass Stains, Shower Stall/Algae
Liquor, Soda, Coffee, Food and Grass Stains Using a 10:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X, pre-soak area and let stand for 60 seconds. Follow instructions given for laundry.
Using a 10:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X spray the area to be cleaned and allow 1 to 2 minutes for heavy buildup before wiping. Clean using an abrasive scrounge pad. Rinse.
Swimming Pools, Lime, Tar, Tough Carpet Stains Swimming Pools Using a 7:1 dilution, spray or pour ADVANAGE 20X into area to be cleaned and allow to stand for 3 to 5 minutes. Using an abrasive scrounge pad or wire brush clean and rinse.
Spray on a 7:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X and allow stained area to absorb (about 5 to 6 minutes). Spray the area again and clean using an abrasive scrounge pad. Rinse.
Tough Carpet Stains A 7:1 dilution of ADVANAGE 20X is recommended for heavily soiled areas on the carpet. Do not step on carpet until padding is dry.
CAUTION. Spraying any liquid on electrical timing outlets will cause damage to unit.
Using our ‘ “Wonder Pump’ Foamer to clean ovens is extremely effective. Simply pump foam throughout oven, preheat for five minutes at 150°, turn off and pump more foam. While warm, clean using a green 3M-scrunge pad. Rinse and wipe. Go to 'online store' to purchase a Wonder pump.
1:1 & STRAIGHT DILUTIONS
Concrete/Asphalt, Pipes, Sewers, Septic Tanks
Concrete/Asphalt (mix with hot water)
Using ADVANAGE 20X
at 1:1, or straight from the bottle, pour on oil grease spots in driveway and, using a wire brush, work in a circular motion to lift the stains. Rinse with power hose.
Household Pipes, Sewer and Septic Tanks
A 1:1 solution of ADVANAGE 20X
followed by hot running water twice a month, will keep drains, tanks and pipes cleaner and fresh smelling.
AUTOMOBILES, BOATS, and RVs
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR
Never use in direct sunlight! Also, do not spray on and let stand for long periods of time. Spray on and wipe immediately.
Exterior – 20:1 Dilution
Body. Wipe car clean using cloth towel. For oxidation, use same dilution with a nonabrasive scrounge pad to assist. Rinse and buff dry.
Fiberglass. Spray on 20X and clean areas using non-abrasive pad. Rinse and buff Chrome. Wipe immediately as you spray on. For bubbly rust, spray on same dilution using a non-abrasive scrounge pad to prime the surface. Rinse.
Whitewall Tires – 10:1 Dilution
Spray on ADVANAGE 20X
using an abrasive scrounge pad to lift dirt.
Windows/Mirrors – 32:1 Dilution
Use measurements prescribed for glass cleaner. Do not allow it to stand long - wipe as you spray and buff glass with cotton cloth.
Rust and Brake Dust on Rims – 10:1 Dilution
Degrease Engine – Use 1:1 Dilution
Interior -- 20:1 Dilution
Spray on 20X and clean using towel. Rinse. For stubborn stains, you may need to use a non-abrasive scrounge pad or nylon brush.
Automobile Cloth/Velveteen Interior Spray on stained area and rub in circular motion with a dry towel. For stubborn stains, use 15:1 and let stand for 3 to 5 minutes. You may use a nylon brush to assist you, rubbing in a circular motion. Rinse and wipe dry with towel.
Spray on spots and let stand for 30 seconds. Rinse with clear water and wipe dry with towel.
Please note that throughout the previous instructions, cleaning aids such as scrounge pads, nylon and wire brushes are mentioned. The white scrounge is a non-abrasive pad, which is to be used on delicate items or material. The green scrounge is an abrasive pad; its primary use is for stubborn stains or heavy buildup on not-so-fragile material or surfaces. Nylon brushes are soft bristled brushes to be used on minor stains and hard-to-reach areas. A wire brush is a steel abrasive-type brush used to clean heavy buildups and stains on hard surfaces such as concrete, asphalt, etc.
